The number of US providers

The number of US providers is higher than Indian providers...which I thought they had us beat in numbers...of course, if you count active providers, I'm sure they do have us beat. lol.

But there is only one "dot" per country, and that might confuse people...US and Canada take up a lot of screen real estate to only display one marker/ea.

I have no problem with it on Firefox. Its an interesting map. The averages are too vague though. How about breaking the average by sector. In my experience $17.50 an hour is the base pay for a kitchen hand. $20 an hour for a cook. $25 an hour for a novice chef or application programmer. $40 an hour for an experienced programmer. $60 an hour for a team leader. $80 an hour for a project leader.

It currently covers all providers on oDesk as of Nov 2007. It shows rates and feedback of only the active providers within each country.
