moneybookers among other things
Hi i'm fairly new to odesk and have received an email on the 15th regarding my april contractor payment. Is there a one month delay for pay and do paid working hours begin only after the 15th of each month? k let me rephrase that, does the pay depend on the logged time during the past month? I'm pretty much in the dark here and would really appreciate some more information regarding this matter.
Another issue is that I signed up for moneybookers (as recommended) and my bank does not have a swift ID which means I'm going to make a new account in a bank that has it. I went to one of the banks yesterday and received comment that swift has additional fees for international money transfer - now i'm not sure if those fees are from the bank or swift? will these fees be deducted from my pay or does odesk or moneybookers take care of that -meaning the buyer pays for it?
Again, hope you can shed some light on these things.

Kat,
The payment you received should be for the time logged between Mon 04/30 and Sun 06/03. So it is your payment for May. Starting approxinately end of this month, you will be able to withdraw the money after every week of work, see more details here
As for moneybookers, all the fees will be deducted from your pay, so you have to figure out what payment method is most benefitial for you - Moneybookers or Payoneer. The fees differ greatly, depending on the bank you use, ATMs available etc. Oftentimes you would have to actually withdraw the money both ways to find out the exact fees.
