New to oDesk from Ky!
Hello Everyone! My name is Susan and I am new to oDesk as of this month! I live in Ky where I am an Independent Contractor and Work At Home Mom! I have another WAH job I have been doing for a few months and a couple more that will start in a couple weeks. I came to oDesk b/c I would like to also pick up some other projects as well. I have been working from home since September 07 and I really couldn't be happier! I am also currently attnding college online to get my certificate in Medical Reception and will start an online Medical Transcription program through Everett Community College in June. I'm looking forward to landing my first job here and getting to know you all!

A lot more challenging than I thought it would be. 
But I am enjoying myself and I've met a really cool group of friends along the way. Hope you enjoy yours too. Maybe we can compare notes or something.

Such A Disappointment...
Well, it turns out I won't be getting to start MT school in June after all. I was trying to get into EVCC but they now tell me I have too many previous credits to be eligible to get Fin. Aid for their school. I have also checked into going to Career Steps but cannot get a loan w/o a cosigner (which I don't have) and there's no way I can handle their payment plan at this time. So, I guess I'll just keep looking for another MT school that is accredited. I was looking on the site of an online college called US Career Institute that has a MT program. Although, I'm not sure if I'd be able to find work from home as a MT if I attend this college. Does anyone here know anything about this school?
