Sometime, I need to add 4 - 6 hrs at a strech.. (after mutual agreement with the buyer)
Say.. i add from 6.00 am - 9.00 am... (with a common memo)...then later when i see in the workdiary,
6 -8 -->I see yellow bulb like button( and says billed time , offline..has a checkbox)
8-9---> I see a red bulb like button ( and says non-billed time , offline, does not have a checkbox)
Is this due to some mistake from my part ?

Please take a screensnap of what you see in the work diary and submit it with a help ticket so they can check your account.

I have submited a help ticket.with screenshot. Guess the other alternative is to add the offline hours in chunks of 2 ( say 6 -8 :: 9-10) -- net 3 hrs.

Mystery solved
on Fri, 2008-05-16 17:07.There is no "2-hour" max limit on adding off-line time. In this case the assignment had a weekly limit of X hours, set by the buyer and the total billable hours (on-line + off-line) is capped at X.
So for example, if the weekly limit is 5 and you've already logged 3 hours on-line this week, when you attempt to add 3 more hours of off-line work, only 2 hours will be accepted. Had the weekly limit been 6, then all 3 hours of off-line time would've been accepted.

The buyer doesn't have to do
The buyer doesn't have to do anything to approve the offline hours. The buyer would have to take action in order to dispute the hours.
