Providers do not have webmail, SMTP, or POP access to their @odesk.com email account. All email sent to your @odesk.com address is automatically forwarded to your personal address. Replying using one of the 'send as' methods in the article is totally optional. I haven't had a chance to test and incorporate the Yahoo instructions written by the provider Gem, but they may help you.
You are permitted to use your personal email address for communication with buyers, if you'd like (yes, I know it says otherwise in some of our email notifications - they're being updated as we speak).

I think you can't!
I'm not sure, but every communication that was sent there will automatically bounced to your official e-mail address you used when you sign-up for membership. But to use it as an originating address, I tried that and I can't, either.
Yes, I would like a clarification on this one too!
