Way to FORCE buyers to provide a feedback?
Have 3 projects completed, 2 of them could have a feedback, but for some reasons buyers (not only the ones i worked with) are ignoring feedback feature at oDesk, thereby ruining providers progress as successful worker, leaving him without feedback?
Is oDesk going to do something with this?
Of course i tried to ask.
Of course i tried to ask. Even more than once.
First by just noticing i have put good feedback for them (so they can think they need to put feedback for me too).
Then was simply asking them to do this.
Both times i was told that they will feedback me immediately, but they didn't.
Force Feedback for Providers...
Hi,
I would also like to see the ability to force feedback for providers
Failure to Feedback as Feedback
For buyers and providers, as part of their feedback rating, show how often they provide feedback.
So far for me...
I'm getting about 30% of my customers take the time to leave feedback. While I certainly like getting feedback, I don't think that forcing a Buyer to do so is useful. Too much risk of "just click quick" right down the middle and getting 3/5 just to get past it. I'd much rather get feedback from the clients that were highly motivated to do so.

I agree--- I don't think forcing feedback is the way to go. Forced feedback is likely to be poor feedback and do more harm than good.
also disappointed
On my first assignment, I completed a job within the requirements, had good communication with the buyer, established a working relationship with other team members, etc. When I was done with the project, I closed it out, left great feedback for the buyer, and recieved my payment.
BUT...I never recieved any feedback. Not once did the buyer express any problem with my work and also hasn't responded to my inquiries. I know he's still active on here becuase I still keep in touch with one of the team members who is still doing projects for him. If he thought I was premature in closing the job, he should have said something, not to mention that there was nothing in the job listing stating that it was ongoing. I just keep wondering if I did something wrong.
I just hope that my current buyer leaves good feedback.

.
Have you tried asking nicely?
If you've done a good job, and the buyer knows this, why wouldn't he/she leave a good note for you?
