Question for the team about hrs recorded after a pay raise

Hi Odesk Team : )

 

I have a problem with a job in which I was given a pay raise that, I thought, was supposed to start on Wed, but I mis read the email and it didn't start until today (7/3)  Is there any way I can get the .67 hrs I worked on Wed paid at the new rate (which was agreed upon by my buyer for the entire project)?  It'd be helpful because the original work I did for this buyer was at $4/hr and when he asked me to do some more work recently he agreed to pay me $8.75, which is a big difference! 

And again, the buyer is OK with the higher rate for the whole project, it is just a mess up on my part with regards to when Odesk could switch the rate.

The easiest way would be for your Buyer to pay the difference as a Bonus.

Thanks Olga - I didn't really want to bother him about it - and was hoping that Odesk could help me instead since it was totally my error in not paying attention to the date on the email - but if that is the only way , then I'll check in with him about it.
