Help on PayPal Account Type

Hi,

 I recently joined the Odesk as a provider and completed my profile.But i have some doubts regarding the Paypal account.

In the pay pal site,it lists mainly three types of account, 1)Personal 2)premeium and 3)Business.

Please state the difference between these accounts and suggets which one is best suited for me.I hold a bankaccout and iam a debit card holder.Iam from India.

 Please Help.................

My best guess is...

Judging from your profile, I think PERSONAL Paypal account suits you.

If you will simply be receiving funds from sites like oDesk (and even from friends and relatives) then go for PERSONAL account. Sending and receiving money is free.

If you will be doing mass payments, or do some other personal business in sites like Ebay, accept unlimited credit card payments then you'll have to upgrade your PERSONAL account to PREMIER. You'll always get a fee when receiving money.

Finally, you need a BUSINESS account if you happen to do business under a corporate or business entity. The features of premier account is the same as of the business and except that the premier account is owned by an individual. You'll also get a fee when receiving money.

You'll still have to go with the PERSONAL account so that you get the full amount of your earnings from oDesk.

Thank you for your reply. Can you please tell which banks in India support this facility(pay pal).I have my account in Indus Ind.Please reply at the earliest.Iam expecting your reply to start working.

Sorry, I cannot help you on which banks of India support that facility since we are on different countries. I can just answer which Paypal account is recommended to receive payments out from oDesk.

 Perhaps others may be able to help.

I wrote to paypal regarding this query. But paypal authority email me for business account. Personal account only for pay for shopping.

So please confirm that you are sure or write only on your thought.

Please confirm from paypal account holder of odesk, which has personal or business account.

I'm wainting for confirmation.

Hi! I'm using a Paypal personal account right now and received one or two payments from here.
