Remember honesty is the best policy

Hello kababayan!
I just want to share a tip: If you are not truly an expert with the job, then don't not pursue it in the first place. If you happen to land on that job, do not hesitate to tell the buyer about the problem so that the buyer knows the situation.
If you want to be hired, state "MONEY BACK GUARANTEE"
Remember, honesty is the best policy.

Getting hired in freelance jobs is a lot different to being employed in a company. A company considers hiring people with the right attitude and enough skill because these companies invest in training. But working part time or freelance (even out of oDesk) requires special skills. The buyer often needs a person who has all the experience and skills at hand to do the job, whereas the company has the luxury to allow people to study and familiar themselves first with the skill. In freelance, training and studying new skills are not part of the buyers time, unlike what companies are giving for their employees.
Since most Filipinos are employed and take part time jobs here in oDesk, it is often a common mistake that some new freelancers apply to jobs that they have less skills to show with - in the hope of learning the skill while working on the job. This should not be the case.
