can you log oDesk hours for a fixed amount project?

I'm working with a Buyer who prefers doing fixed amount projects. But as I've looked for other jobs, I notice a frequent requirement of a certain amount of oDesk hours. Is there a way for me to log hours with the team client software on a fixed bid project?

Logging hours using the
Logging hours using the oDesk Team client is optional on fixed price jobs. You may choose to use it to keep a record of your work. Unless the buyer specifically tells you he needs to see your work diary, there is no relation between logging hours and being paid for a fixed price job. The buyer has total discretion over if, when, and how much to pay for a fixed price job. Payment for fixed price jobs is not guaranteed.
Logging hours using the oDesk Team client is mandatory on hourly jobs so that payment can be guaranteed.
