How's my oDesk profile? Feedback desired!
Greetings!
I'm very overwhelmed, but at least surviving in this new oDesk world. I took a month and a half to adequately take tests, train and most importantly build my oDesk profile. I feel pretty sharp on the whole oDesk application, however, how does my profile look? Am I missing anything? Is there too much of something? I WOULD LOVE YOUR FEEDBACK.
Meantime, I just submitted some of my first cover letters. Wish me luck! And if there are any tips for new-to-oDesk-first-time-cover-letters, I would love to hear that too.
Thank you!

Welcome to oDesk. good work

You'll earn a lot more for writing and marketing work, so you may want to focus on that as opposed to data entry. You've got a good score on your editing test, and from the look of your profile I think you could succeed those fields.
But you will absolutely need to add some work samples to your portfolio (if you don't have enough 'professional' writing work, use a personal blog, old school papers, or volunteer to write something for a cause/organization you're interested in).

Got it.
Got it! Thank you so much for the feedback. I will definitely follow up on writing samples.

Try applying for some small fixed price job to get started. I got my first job in four days! Also broaden the areas you are interested in. You might want to check out my profile to see if you get some ideas. Adding work to your portfolio might also help.
