Help! I am new to ODesk and have tried three times unsuccessfully to load ODesk Team. Without it I believe I can't be paid. I submitted a help ticket, but wonder how long it will take to receive a response. In the mean time, there are jobs I would like to bid on, but am hesitant without Team working correctly. Thanks for any help you can give!

Can you be more specific about what problem you're having? Most of the problems users have are a result of the program being broken during the download - including the most common 'win32' error. Unfortunately, this is a problem with your connection, not our file, and all you can do is keep trying until it downloads properly.
Please remove/uninstall all the oDesk program files on your system, restart, and redownload. Make sure you're saving the downloaded file, then running the installer - don't just choose 'run' in the download dialog box.

Well a week later I have deleted all ODesk files and reloaded, restarted, etc. etc. and still get the same messages. Here's what's happening ... When my computer starts up I immediately get an error message that says CCI failed (common 1) and another that says Error is 0 x 80040154. Then when I try to access ODesk Team it says the following ... ODesk Preferences not found or corrupted and then ODesk Preferences fatal error. ODesk Team will now exit. Any ideas from anyone. I am getting seriously frustrated about not being able to really get started.
Thanks for any responses.

I apologize for the inconvenience - and appreciate you taking the time to post back with an update. Reinstalling does solve nearly all errors. Unfortunately, this is not an error I've encountered before. Please submit a help ticket so our engineers can investigate. Be sure to include the error messages and your computer details (operating system, processor, etc.).
