See your whole team
Team members are now arranged in a tile pattern instead of a long list. With four tiles across on most screens, you can probably see your entire team without scrolling down.
Better presence indicator
It's even easier than before to see who is online right now, and who has worked in the last 24 hours.
At long last, time zone conversion!
One of the top requests we've heard, especially from Buyers, is to show the local time zone of your team members. We heard you! So whether your teammates are across the country or across the globe, you'll always know what time it is wherever they are, all in the team room.
Filtering and sorting for bigger teams
For larger teams, it can be difficult to sort through all of your members, so we have added new sorting and filtering based on name, role, and when they have last worked, as well as a "quick search" option to find a specific team member quickly.

The timezone of your account does not observe DST

The issue is that the timezone of your account is "GMT+06:00 Almaty, Dhaka" which does not observe the DST change. The correct timezone should have been "GMT+06:00 Omsk, Novosibirsk" which is currently missing from our system.
We will fix this with next week's release - we also intend to migrate all Russian users from "GMT+06:00 Almaty, Dhaka" to "GMT+06:00 Omsk, Novosibirsk".
It is amazing that this is the first time that the DST discrepancy is found, given the number of Russian users from Omsk, Novosibirsk etc. I suppose the new Teamroom helped 
I can partially explain this since Kazakhstan used to implement DST in the past - however Wikipedia informs us that "Kazakhstan made a decision to stop observing DST in 2005, citing health complications as well as lowered productivity and a lack of economic benefits". Still, this was 3 years ago...

Actually I had this problem before when I selected my time zone in work diary, I just never complained because this issue is not significant.. But I'm glad it will be resolved soon. Thank you, Stratis.
I like it, for the most part...
I like it, for the most part. But I don't like that there's no quick link to team members' profiles now. If the usernames were clickable to their public profile (like it was), that would be perfect!
I just noticed that on some,
I just noticed that on some, there's a "view profile" in the dropdown menu, but not on my AC team.
On jobs that I've been hired for (or have hired a provider), I see the hired providers have a view profile option. But on my AC team, no one has the view profile option...it would be nice to see the "view profile" option on EVERYONE, not just hired providers.
That's my $0.02 for the day.

Very NICE Feature!
I like the correct time displayed from each location: both buyer and provider. But the provider's name (a long one) overlaps on the time. Maybe the two could be on separate lines (name and time)? Thank you very much for the improvements on oDesk!
What time style is displayed?
My providers are at 43am (GMT+5:30) and 13am (GMT+8).
I am at 13pm (GMT-5).
Either this is 24:00 time mislabeled or some math needs to be worked on.

The dropdowns for each team member are not wide enough to read what the item does.
In other words, all I see is " Time An" or "Yahoo C" or "Compos"

I am thinking that was on a Win XP Professional with IE 6.
Although I just tried on a win xp professional running IE7.0.57.30 and am having the same problem as described.
I'll monitor this tread, so let me know if you need more info.

Time zone conversion seems to be a very nice feature, but it doesn't work correctly, at least for me, because it ignores daylight saving time. I guess I have to manually change my timezone to make it display my local time properly.
