What sence in this "oDesk Readiness Test for Affiliated Contractors"
????
What sense????
I want to work with my developers in my team, but I can't assign developer before test complete. Test is difficult and I many people don't want (and can't ) work using oDesk because of this test. Developer knows how he'll work, what sense in this difficult test????
I must to start work with team today, but nobody developer from my team did not pass this test. This test is not interested for me, it's not interested for buyer. Buyer only wants to see result of work, not this bureaucracy!!!!

Oleg,
I am sorry as a provide that others are frustrated by the new readiness test, but here's the other side of that:
This test isn't exactly difficult - all of the answers can be found here on oDesk in the help guide and each question provides a link to the section where you can find the answer. Frankly, as long as someone has a reasonable grasp of English they should be able to take this exam with little difficulty.

yes, but nobody know
yes, but nobody know English as well and nobody wants to spend 1 hour without payment. Present, you search a job, found good company, but they want to spend some time for interview + 1 hour to test about oDesk....
oDesk is an English Language Work Environment
The oDesk Site, and the tools are all in English. Some basic knowledge of English is a requirement to be able to use those tools. In that regard the English requirement to successfully pass the ORT is no different than that part of your driving test that requires you to be able to interpret road signs correctly.
This reminded me of a

This reminded me of a famous Russian cartoon, where one bird said to another: "It is better to lose a day, and then get there in one hour".
What I am trying to say is the time you invest in building up your oDesk profile and taking the oDesk test will save you time and trouble finding jobs and olving different problesm later.

I am sorry to hear about
I am sorry to hear about your frastration with ORT, but it has been introduced for your protection as well as the Buyer's. It is primarily targetted at helping you learn about the system and avoid common mistakes while working that too often result in misunderstandings between the Buyer and Providers and therefore, bad feedback or lost payments.
Knowing how to use the system properly makes you a more effective provider and ensures you can use oDesk to your advantage.
Regards,
Olga
