How to request a withdrawal?

Hello,

Please help me with advise.

I have received a fixed price assignment here.  I have completed and delivered the same direct to the owner.  He is happy and advised me that I should be able to withdraw my fee in oDesk. 

In oDesk, I added my oDesk email id to my Paypal account, where I wish to withdraw the fund.   I have been asked to confirm my PayPal account for which I am supposed to follow a link in the email from PayPal to the added email address.  I looked in the oDesk (Message Centre) to see this email from PayPal, but did not find a mail from PayPal.  Am I looking at the wrong page?

Secondly, once I get my oDesk email id confirmed in PayPal, how do I actually get the payment for my work into my PayPal account?  Too much information is available here in oDesk, reading through link to link and to link, but I am not able to find the required information.  What is the procedure to request oDesk to transfer the funds into my PayPal account?

Appreciate help from anyone please.

I am wondering the same thing... anyone can clarify this?

And I can't see any emails from paypal (when adding my odesk.com email) in the message center. Why is that?

Emails sent to your

Emails sent to your @odesk.com email address are automatically forwarded to the personal email address you have on file. The messages are NOT in the the oDesk Message Center. I recommend you look for the PayPal verification email in your inbox and spam folders. You can try sending yourself an email to yourusername@odesk.com to make sure you're receiving the messages.

All withdrawals are made in My oDesk -> Billing & Payment -> Withdraw Funds. Once you've got an active withdrawal method, you go to that page, select the method, and enter the amount you want to withdraw.

Please note that you cannot withdraw any funds until they are available. They are 'pending' for 6 days after the buyer makes payment.

I have another question

I got my PayPal account added with my oDesk email id. 

My new question:  I have completed the assignment and delivered to the owner direct (it is a fixed price assignment).  The owner has confirmed acceptance to me and said I should be able to get paid.  However, I do not find any balance available in my account with oDesk - possibly, the owner has not released his payment (he said, his credit card will get debited once oDesk collect payment from him).  Possibly, the owner has to do something else like inform oDesk about successful completion of project and acceptance of the product.  Can someone advise me what the owner should now do to release the payment?  And what I should do to get paid.  I looked for a link in oDesk to report completion of 'successful delivery', but unsuccessful.  (That brings me to the suggestion:  oDesk is great, no doubt, but it would be ideal to be more user friendly - there should be a page to detail the actual steps for completing an assignment and get paid!).
