This is my first experience on a fixed job

The position is to provide ten postings for a fixed fee in a three day turn around... half the money was given up front.
The specifications of the job to provide the postings to your blog and before posting have approval.
The posts have been provided from looking at the information from the website.
This is my first assignment, I understand with a fixed fee Odesk does not protect your payment, why?
I do hope this is a positive assignment and the transistion and the posting and payment are quick and successfull

oDesk doesn't guarantee payment on fixed price assignments, because to define whether the provider should be paid or not, it is necessary to determine if the product provided to the Buyer matches the project requirements. oDesk doesn't have enough experts to provide arbitration in all the different areas and skills that the services are offered in through oDesk.
On hourly-based assignments, the Buyer has complete transparency into the Provider's activity on the project and can therefore control the flow of project, and therefore disputes are not as common, and if they do happen, the decision is made based on the work diary of the Provider.
