Welcome to oDesk! Good start

Welcome to oDesk! Good start on your profile.

My recommendations:

* Work on your profile title. Just listing your skills isn't the best idea. Be personal, stand out.
* Add a portrait - if you don't want to use a picture of yourself, use any picture that shows your personality.
* Add items to your portfolio.
* You already have several oDesk projects in your work history - keep in mind that a lot of Buyer's decisions will now be made based on your feedback score. So make sure you do your best to please your Buyers and get good feedback Smiling.

Now, speaking of your portfolio:

* make it easy for the Buyers to access your work samples. They currently have to 1) go to the portfolio tab, 2) Go to you website and 3) go to your portfolio page. Save their precious time and reduce their trip to seeing your work to just one step - going to the portfolio tab.
* Now, even when they do get to your portfolio, all they see is 5 examples of your work (6, counting the website itself). How about the "many professional looking web sites", advertised in the Skills section of your Resume?

Please note that polishing your profile is just the first step. It is vital to write excellent cover letters and really wow the buyer. You have to prove your value. Here's some more resources for newbies:
