Transaction denied. Maximum limit (1000) of (Maximum Cash Withdrawal Transaction Amount) Parameter is violated
I have strange problems with my Payoneer debit card starting from this month.
1. I tried to withdraw $2000 cash, but transaction was refused. Little bit later I found such transaction in my account "Transaction denied. Maximum limit (1000) of (Maximum Cash Withdrawal Transaction Amount) Parameter is violated."
2. I tried to withdraw cash again next day, and was able to get $970. When I tried to withdraw again, transaction was refused. Little bit later I saw new transaction in my account "Transaction denied. Maximum limit (1000) of (Maximum Cash Withdrawal Amount in Given Interval) Parameter is violated".
3. Today I tried to withdraw again, but I was told that limit on my card was exceeded. How can it happen if I have more than $3000 in my account?
I post ticket to payoneer support 3 days ago, but no response still.
Does any one have such problem?
Thanks,
Max
This is what payoneer replied to my ticket
Dear Evgeny ,
Thank you for contacting us.
In 20007, shortly after Payoneer launched partnership with oDesk, we raised the ATM daily withdrawal limit to $2,500 based on customer feedback.
When we did this we specifically posted on oDesk blog-forum that we are trying it out as a pilot.
Back in February 2008 we changed it back the pilot results showed showed that it was not successful/necessary.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.
Sincerely,
Dan

In any case you not need to worry about you clients, we will live even if you will decrease it to 1$
Re
How do you suggest to withdraw money if I have 20 developers in my team and I'm getting up to $10,000per week?
In this case I will be able to withdraw up to $7,000 per week. What about other $3000.
In one month I'll have 12000 that I'm not able to withdraw. What should I do in this situation?
Thanks
If you are withdrawing such
on Fri, 2008-10-10 13:15.If you are withdrawing such a large sum of money, would it not be easier and cheaper to do so via Wire Transfer?
oDesk charges a flat fee of $30 for each transfer, and the receiving bank may charge a fee as well (you must check with your bank to find out how much) - but even if their fee were $100, you'd still only be paying about a 1% in fees to transfer $10,000. The larger the lump sum withdrawn, the lower the percentage you'll pay in fees.

Limit is changed?
As far as I understood, payoneers had changed limit back to $2500 again. I was able to withdraw more than $1000 today. Is anyone lucky to do the same?
Thanks
The same for me
I also managed to withdraw more than $2,000 today.
Can oDesk do something to
Can oDesk do something to increase those limits? Personally I'm ready to pay higher payoneer fees in exchange of increasing daily withdrawal limit, because $1,000 per day is very annoying.
I don't understand completely, what is the reason for payoneer to have such a low limit? The only explanation I see is that if someone steals my debit card along with its pin, he won't be able to withdraw everything immediately. If I withdraw, for example, $10,000, payoneer gets the same fees, no matter how many days it take for me to withdraw it. Because the largest sum I can withdraw in one transaction is less than $500, so now I can have two withdrawal transactions per day.
I understand that I can have wire transfers and moneybookers, but payoneer used to be very convinient, because I could get money in two hours even on weekends and bank holidays.
it is made to take
it is made to take additional 2.15 because you can't withdraw all at once and need to go next day to withdraw again
No, I guess there's another reason
Maximum amount I can withdraw in one transcation is slightly less than $500, ATMs simply don't let me withdraw more. So if I withdraw $10,000, I need approx. 20 transcations and payoneer gets its 20 * 2,15 = $43, no matter how many days it takes for me.
If less than 500 I assume it
If less than 500 I assume it is ATM owner limit, here we have some ATMs which are not give more than 150$, but I withdraw in ATM which give 800$(in UAH of course
) in one transaction. But if I need more money, I can withdraw less than 200 in second transaction because of payoneer limit.
extra cards
This may encourage providers to open accounts on other xLance sites tied to Payoneer, so it would not be a bad idea if oDesk and Payoneer would try to work out some resonable decision.
Problem is real clear - you
Problem is real clear - you can't get more that 1000$ in one day, it is Payoneer limit. It was 2500 before, but they decreased it and what is ugly - they not announce it, just do it and we don't know about it.
