UNABLE TO APPLY FOR JOBS - 2 application quota still pending.

Job Openings: American Voice Talent for Marketing Firm, $100 per job including Fee - (1476424)

Got rejected from the buyer as they did n ot want to make an upfront payment: I have now tried close to a dozen times with revised offers & waived off the upfront fees, but my application wont go across!! Its so frustrating.

1. I do have 2 applications available
2. I did not include the sound file incase it is the size which is being rejected by the odesk servers
3. cleared cookies, re-booted & still no results!!!!
4. tried applying through the jobs find page, the post message method, search for job, rejected candidacy page...but to no avail!

GRRRRRR......

The client responded almost immediately after I applied & this gap is costing me dear.
Anyone with quick understanding on this problem?

Sincerely,
Sheetal

It is not possible to

It is not possible to reapply to a job. This is not a caching lag or a malfunction. The system simple doesn't allow it.

Can you imagine if it were allowed how the buyers would be inundated with candidates they'd already rejected asking for second chances (and third and fourth....)?

We do allow all bids to be changed while the candidacy is active, but not after it has been ended. In the future, please indicate on your cover letter if you are willing to negotiate your price or upfront percentage. Also, be sure to read the job description carefully as buyers will often say that they will not make upfront payments, or will only make a certain percentage up front.

The buyer ended my candidacy & then updated their posting.
Sad

So its between the devil & the deep blue sea: either ask for an advance & secure payment or jut take a leap of faith rather than lose an assignment!

Appreciate the quick revert by you & Karen.
