Taking test - "next" button took me to the oDesk home page.
I am not sure what happened, but on the third question on the intro test the "next" button took me to the oDesk home page. Why did this happen. I have XP and IE 7 so it sould be working. Any help would be great as I would like to be part of this community but cannot if I cannnot get back to taking the test.
Thanks, Daniel
I have tried taking the test again....
Jpittenger,
I have tried again but this time it took me to the home page on the fourth question. I have been having issues my computer so that may be the problem. I have a friend coming by tomorrow to look at it. I just don't want to get locked out of the "pioneer" area. I should be able to get it solved. I will reply to this thread if something goes wrong again tomorrow. Thanx.
I've also been having similar problems ...
I don't think it's your computer. I tried to take some tests a few months ago and couldn't understand why my scores were so low, until I realised that the test was skipping every other question, or every third question. One question was 0 of 40 and wouldn't let me proceed until I'd answered it. There wasn't a question there! I reported it and the tests were withdrawn.
I've just tried to retake the tests and the same thing has happened again - it skips 2 - 3 questions each time. Last time, ODesk suggested it could be my mouse or computer configuration. This is an entirely new computer so the chances of it being my mouse or computer are highly unlikely I would have thought.
The first test I took using Firefox. The second test I tried in Explorer and didn't have a problem. Could this be a browser issue?
Sorry for the inconvenience.
on Wed, 2008-10-15 20:39.Sorry for the inconvenience. I will check with engineering as well as our test vendor to see if they spot anything in their logs. Please keep posting to this thread if you see other similar issues with taking tests.

That is indeed an odd error.
That is indeed an odd error. Have you tried taking the test again? Please post back if you run into the same problem.
