Sick days & holidays?
Just wanted to know, if you get sick while you're working, if you have any protocol for that, or you just email the buyer/team and tell them you're sick and won't be available for a while.
And, does work stop on national holidays?

I agree with Doreen on that, usually I just work a half day on the holidays, typically just some office administrative stuff or if its an important deadline coming up I use that time to get some of the more daunting task out of the way. Otherwise , I just work it out and keep good communication with the client/buyer about the status of things, that including if I'm sick or what not

In most cases that is worked out between you and the buyer. I have taken time off by simply discussing it with the buyers and as far as holidays go (national ones) I sometimes work but for much shorter times than I would work on regular days.
