Rejected for Spamming?
I am new to oDesk and have done one project which I got a couple of days after I joined. But I do have a question for some of the vetrans out there.
Do you pay much attention to the reasons why you were rejected from a job?
I just got rejected from a social networking project; and the reason was 'Spam Application - null'. I have been rejected from 23 jobs so far, no biggie as I do freelance work through a number of sources. But I found myself mildly irratated by this buyers reason. I guess, it is because I do read each description and take care to tailor each application I make. I just feel like the buyer could have taken the time to give me a real reason. For example, I was rejected from one of my first applications because of a typo; that is great criticism because it told me I needed to pay more attention to detail with my applications. But spamming? I guess I was just offended.
Actually, I feel better about it now that I have had my vent. Thanks for listening!

I have a similar experience.
I have a similar experience. The buyer wanted to design 4 avatars for holloween. I made one as a sample and attached with the cover letter. Irony is that it was rejected as spam!
Since when the spams became so intelligent to attach documents which the buyer wants?
