Outsourcing to Philippines

oConomy: Live info and charts on global outsourcing trends in Philippines. View trends by skill, industry growth and popular IT & admin providers.

Overview

Over the past few years, the Philippines has established itself as one of the top countries in the global outsourcing industry. The industry has grown rapidly because it has the ingredients critical to outsourcing service providers and customers. These include large-scale people resources, with close to half-a-million English-speaking students graduating from college yearly, a well-deserved reputation for excellence in communication skills, interpersonal warmth, customer-service orientation, problem-solving abilities, and cultural affinity with Western markets and customs, and an operational cost advantage, with costs competitive with any supplier country in the world.

I am a newbie!

Hello po! I'm so happy that a lot of Filipinos are working in odesk. Thank you Lord, at least na assure ako na di ako nagiisa dito. Smile

I'm a mother and looking for a job. Just resigned last May this year, though it was a tough decision since I'm s single Mom but I need to take care of my daughter.

Buti nalang may Odesk.

Mga kababayan ko, hope you can support me on this especially sa mga expert na dito.Smile Medyo natatakot at kinakabahan kasi di siya yung normal or traditional na nagaapply ng work. Something new for me talaga ito.

sa mga expert na, I just wanted to know the risks of working in Odesk?

Thank you and Mabuhay tayong mga Pinoy!
