I am not listed under "Find Providers"
I just joined and passed the oDesk test today. I wanted to provide a url to my profile on oDesk but my name does not come up under "Find Providers". Is there an amount of time between the time you are allowed to apply for jobs i.e. pass the oDesk test and the time your name gets posted under "Find Providers"?

If you just want to get the link to your profile to use on another website, you can go to:
My oDesk > Profile & Settings > View my profile as others see it
Once there, you'll see a "Permalink" box just below your name and photo. Use that permalink to link directly to your oDesk profile. Yours is:

I've noticed that your profile is "Private", you should turn it to "Public", so that you can view your profile, when doing a search for provider.

Oh, that explains it. It's not set to private, but "authenticated users". This means only buyers can see it (which is why Doreen and I have been able to find her in searches).

I can't view it, but I guess you can. I think she should weight her situation and consider whether she wants to be included in searches, even by providers or remain being seen only by Authenticated buyers, since both of you and Doreen are buyers, as well as providers, you would have no problem finding her and any buyers for that matter..

Chances are
Renee, There are a number of search methods - you can try Renee S and then when you get the search options and select 'available hours'/highest first you come up on the 2nd page and if you select 'rates/highest' I find you in the same page of providers (that's where I found you). Doreen
