Should I work even bid for this type of buyer?
I know that oDesk discourages people not to work for a buyer whose payment method is not verified until it is verified. But I have come across a buyer whose payment method, though not verified, he paid through oDesk. Here is what I got from his stats:
Payment Method Not Verified
Buyer - Member Since 02/23/08
Hourly: $7,442 (562 hours)
Fixed-Price: $0 (0 projects)
Total: 26 posted, 10 paid
(5.00) 1 feedbacks
However if I move my cursor over the payment method not verified button, it shows a tooltip 'The buyer has a payment method on file with oDesk, but it has not been confirmed by oDesk.'
Please tell me what can I do.

It sounds like this is one
on Sun, 2008-11-09 18:55.It sounds like this is one of handful of buyers who were grandfathered in when the verification system was added earlier this year. If they started using a credit card shortly before the system was added, they're allowed to keep using it but don't get the verified badge unless they complete the verification process.
If there are other current assignments, there should be nothing to worry about. If you get an interview, you may want to mention that they don't show as verified on the job post.
