wrong percentile in English Test result
Hi guys,
anyone knows how to complain about the percentile in English Test result?
I passed the test with 4.00 out of 5.00, that means (if maths isn't an opinion) 80% of success and I completed it in 22 minutes.
I was wondering why oDesk system is showing 4 out of 5 score with 40% success percentile in my personal info page.
Any help?
How could I complain about it?
Thanks folks,
Francesco
Yes, the confusion here is

Your Percentile value denotes the percentage of candidates who have scored less than you in this test, NOT the percentage of correct answers. Note that your Percentile value is likely to change in the future as more candidates appear.

I got it
ok, thank you.
Now it's clear.
By the way, it's a bit confusing for a buyer that is looking at a provider info page. He will read the percentile that could be easily confused with percentage, thinking that the provider is not so proficient in english (or any other tested skill) as the score shows or as the provider himself states to be.

Percentile
Francesco, the percentile is actually the number of oDesk community members who have taken the test that you've done better than. So, while your score may have been 80% of the 'overall' score, your score is better than 40% of oDesk users who have taken the test. Hope that makes sense!
