Hey-thanks for your comments. Just wondered if my rate would be too high and they wouldn't even look at your profile. Like you said, they can take it or leave it. How long have you been in the system? Just wondering, since you have not been hired yet. I'm learning! Hope you get hired today!

From what I've heard, most buyers don't bother with negotiating over the provider's requested hourly rate. They'll generally just take it or leave it. When it comes to fixed rates, however, they are generally open to negotiation. However, I have never been hired. This is just something I picked up somewhere in the oDesk help section.
