Am I exclusive or non-exclusive AC?
Hi,
I have been affiliated to a company since mid of last year 2007. There is a new feature added this year : I can be exclusive or non-exclusive.
How do I find out my relationship with my provider company in my oDesk page. Kindlly show the page?
My requirement : I am an AC. I want to work on assignments as IC as well. How do I do that?

You are correct -- the
on Tue, 2008-12-02 03:35.You are correct -- the policy is one person, one account. My recommendation is to discuss your wishes with your company. Removing your affiliated contractor status (therefore making your an IC) is up to them.
You may also submit a help ticket to further discuss the situation with our support team. Affiliations are not generally removed without the provider company's permission, but you may present your case for an exception.

Only a company admin can
Only a company admin can change your from exclusive to non-exclusive. As of right now, you are an exclusive-AC. Since you agreed to an exclusive contract with your company, only they can change your status.
If you are an admin, you can make the change self-service (for yourself or any team member).
An admin can change a team member's affiliation status in the Affiliate Contractor column of the Team Admin Roster.
