Hey there,
I have been an oDesk member for several weeks, have applied for jobs, completed my profile and portfolio, taken tests - and yet I never seem to be able to snag that first job.
Could I get some feedback? I would so appreciate it!
Thanks!

Kris,
You have a great profile and excellent portfolio. Your objective/overview is a little long, though - the only recommendation I have is to shorten it.
Personally, I would move everything under "technical skills" into the skills portion of the resume, each as its own entry (instead of lumped into one entry like you have now). Then move both the awards and associations sections to the "other experience" section of the resume (awards in one entry, associations in another).
Other than that, I would say your profile looks great...just be sure to personalize your cover letters when applying, and when the job requires a certain style, be sure to send them relevant samples from your portfolio.

I would suggest that you change the photo. Perhaps people are not inpressed with the boots. I think a portrait of yourself would sell you better.
Good luck!
