New oDesk video! Made by oDesk providers!

We're pretty pleased with this new video we've put together. It's an introduction, in a mere two and a half minutes, to what oDesk is and how we work. Obviously our primary audience is people who haven't yet joined the oDesk community, but we think longtime members will be well-served, too. How many times have you had to explain to friends, family, colleagues, random strangers in bars (is that just me?) what oDesk is and how it works? Now you can just fire off a link, and 158 seconds later, they're on board. Except the people in the bar. You're kinda still on your own there.

We're not video producers here at oDesk, though. Fortunately, we found all the production people we needed within the oDesk community. We were able to get the video written (by Brian McDonough), animated (by Bill Whitney), voiced (by Mandy Nelson) by highly skilled, faultlessly collaborative oDesk providers. Visual direction (by our very own Larry Stone) and sound effects (by Jeffrey Stevens) made my work a breeze.
