Navigation bar refreshed
You will notice we've updated our global navigation bar!
The new nav bar…
- takes up less vertical space
- has a toned-down color scheme so it's out of your way when you're not using it.
- Let's you jump to your Message trays (Inbox, Account Alerts, etc.) more quickly.
We hope you find these changes helpful. Please let us know your thoughts below.

The new navigation bar is great but it no longer has a mail alert tag so we have to actually check our mail and im sorry but that kinda suxs. Can we get some kind of alert symbol back on there ?

There is an alert - a red counter right between the word 'Messages' and 'sign out' should tell you how many new messages you have.

Hi,
I could see the notification when there is a new message in the Inbox. However I could not see the notification when there is a new message in the 'Account Alerts'.

Hi pkalimuthu,
You are correct. The message count now displays unread Inbox + Ticket Messages, and no longer displays unread account alerts.
We found that account alerts are too typical to warrant a special treatment in the navigation bar, while Inbox (user-to-user messages) and unread ticket replies do require special attention.
Sorry I neglected to mention that change in my original post.

is possible add a counter in the popup menu in messages? only for new?
Example:

Updates(4)

1. The "Edit" Button on the page "My Provider Profile" in the section "My Public Profile" doesn't work.
2. The link "recommended tests" leads to tests manual instead of recommended tests.

They are unrelated to the new navigation release, but of course we will look into them.
