Is it Possible that Something Bad Happened to My Client?
Hello People,
I know this sounds a bit funny, well, it's just that I had started on this project with a long list of task to finish... and the last time I got an email was almost 3.5 weeks ago. I just submit my work each week, and get my pay on time. End of Story.
It's just that I haven't been receiving any feedback, and the weirdest scenario pops in my mind. I wonder...if there's any way to know if my client is still - alive? I mean, ( knock on wood )... the least thing I want is to bill someone who is... ( knock on wood, again ).
Anyone having the same case? I would love to know what you have in mind. Thanks.
Addt'l: I haven't seen this client, haven't been interviewed, haven't chat .. and our means of communication is only by e-mail. I even stopped working for a day to get a reaction. Nothing... so it really makes me wonder.

Hi,
The buyer may be too busy at the moment concentrating on a more important project than what you are currently assigned with. Moreover, you may have been doing what exactly you should be doing.

Summer in the northern hemisphere is usually vacation time so if your buyer is from the northern hemisphere he may also be enjoying a holiday.

Seems to me like the type od gig where buyer would withhold payment if work not acceptable, or at least would e-mail you to tell you work is not acceptable. I am assuming he/she hired you from sending you an invite to bid (based on your profile), which you accepted. SInce buyet is not complaining and you ARE still getting paid. I don't see any problem. Remembet the old saying "If it ain't broke, dont fix it".

Thanks to you all. I guess my imagination's runnin' wild.. but I guess a li'l concern won't hurt a bit ( a part of me which is still human, and is bein' eaten by the virtual plane ). Yes, they're probably havin' a jolly summer time, busy, but doin' great.

I am having the same experience and my client is in Michigan. Looking at the map, Michigan is in the northern part of U.S.A. and this client has not been communicating with me for almost a month now. So I am inclined to believe that they are all in vacation mode right now.
