Welcome to oDesk!
I am sorry you find some of the network confusing. If you could be more specific about what you have issues with I would be happy to clarify them for you.
Regarding your profile, it looks good, but I suggest adding more information into Employment History section, taking more oDesk tests and putting more samples into Portfolio.
Also, make sure your coverletters are unique and address each partifular opening you are applying to.

Olga

Who will hire a writer with a Test score of 4%, in the English Spelling Test?
Hide the score (there is an option to do so) and retake the test.
I recommend hiding test scores below 60%.

There is a link in "my profile" which says: view my profile as others see it...
You could take the UK English spelling test while you are waiting for 4 weeks to pass (until you are allowed to retake the US-English Spelling test) and I believe that Odesk has a couple of writing related tests in store.
Furthermore your Odesk Readiness Score looks great, but everybody knows: It takes sometime to read 40 questions and answer them as well!(more than 2 minutes)
Either you hide this test as well, nobody really cares about it as it doesn't tell anything about your skills, or you retake it and and finish it in some reasonable am amount of time. (maybe ten minutes?)
It just looks too bad in your profile, to be one of those providers who have hardly taken any test or having bad scores in other tests but OVER-excelling in the Odesk Readiness Test! (because they have retaken the test a million times....)
Good luck,
Rick

FYI - the new oDesk Readiness Test is only 11 questions and requires a 5.0 to pass.

@ zartashia: Please accept my apologies for assuming that you have retaken the Odesk readiness test a trillion times ...
I was not aware that the new ORT consists only of 11 questions.
Less then 12 seconds per answer ain't bad.
@jacqi :
Shit happens all the time. (Good things too
)
Thanks for educating me.

On a very limited basis we can reset a test for you if you will sent a help ticket in. This is not for those who fail specifically but we can verify whether the interruption was caused by technical problems and if so are willing to reset. Doreen - oDesk Support
