how to use oDesk email

Hi folks, I'm new to oDesk. I've accepted an invitation to interview and want to contact the buyer with additional information. I have the buyer's contact info but can't figure out how to send an email through oDesk, rather than using my private email. Can anyone explain this to me, please?

E-mails can't be sent *through* oDesk. However you can configure your e-mail client to send emails as username@odesk.com. Unfortunately, the help section regarding this topic is under construction. Still, there are a couple of options for you.
1. As you already have the buyer's contact information, feel free to contact him/her using your private email.
2. The buyer must have already sent you a message through oDesk. It must be in your Inbox. If you click the message from the buyer and if you see at the bottom of the message, there is a reply section.
