I can see you're a company

I can see you're a company manager, but I can't tell if you're the owner. If you are the company owner I'm going to need more information from you about what exactly you're trying to do.

Assuming you're a manager, but not the owner of Jazib Arts, talk to the owner about leaving the company. They should go to Manage & Work > Team Admin to remove you (directions). It has to be the owner or an admin - not just a staffing manager who removes you (you can't remove yourself unless you are an admin). Warning: you can't be removed while you have an active assignment as an affiliated contractor.

When that's done go create your own new provider company (directions).

Technically, you can create your own company while still affiliated since you're non-exclusive and not already a company owner. But it's a lot more confusing in the interface with the two different companies and sets of permissions. Only do this if you have a good reason to be part of both companies.

Thanx a lot for your prompt response :)

Thanx a lot for your prompt response Smile Actually i am company owner. I want to delete this company. Because now i gonna start a new company with my university friends(in association with a canada based graphic design company). Now why i want to delete this company?? It's becoz i want to change the name and then may be i want to delete previous work done by existing company (i.e jazib arts).
I went to online chat service of odesk in resources section. And the guy there told me that i should remove existing members and then edit my company information. But that cant help. Becoz i also have to separate new company's financial account from my individual. Smile
Also plz gimme a tip. That i should start new company within from my personal account or should i register a new account for it with a new email id?? Becoz maybe at later stages some of our associated members would like to gain access to company login Smile
Best Regards,
Muhammad Jazib Saeed. Smile

Thank you, your description

Thank you, your description is very helpful. Absolutely do not sign up for a second user account. That's a policy violation and will get both counts suspended.

To get rid of the old company, end all current assignments and remove the existing members. Then go to Profile > My Teams and hide it. Or you could transfer company ownership to someone else so that it will still exist - you just won't be part of it anymore.

Once it's gone, I believe the 'create team' form will once again allow you to create a brand new company. If it doesn't please contact Customer Support and tell them you do need a second company. Why? Because you do in fact have two companies and they cannot be combined on oDesk (except for the fact that you 'own' both of them). Different names, separate finances, etc. This sounds like one of the very rare instances where creating another company would be appropriate.

An alternative way to create the second company:
Your friends and those canadian graphic designers will have to be signing up on oDesk too. You could have one of them register as a provider company, then make you an admin (they can even transfer ownership to you).

Warning: 'deleting previous work done by existing company' is NOT a valid reason for creating a new one. Your profile will still contain all your old jobs done as part of the old company. The reason I think a new company is appropriate is because you are bringing a totally new business entity onto oDesk - one that was in no way related to your old company.
