Help with finding a job and maybe profile review
Hello. I have been on Odesk for a couple of months. I have gotten one job, a transcription job, but I was unable to complete because I thought I knew what I was doing because I can type fast but I didn't. I did get feedback from that buyer that was mostly good, except for completing the assignment. That was my mistake, but now I know so I am concentrating on accounting and bookkeeping jobs. I have an associates degree in accounting and am working on my bachelors. I have had one job as an accountant for the last 5 years. I have no other experience. If anybody can give me some pointers on how to land a job it would be really appreciated.

Here are a some suggestions.
Remove Data Entry from your profile title.
Retake the Accounts Receivable test and the US Basic English test and see if you can get higher scores.
Put something in your overview, right now your profile is so empty it looks like you really do not care about getting a job. Explain your accounting experience, 5 years is a lot of experience, play it up.
Add something to your skills. Plump up employment history description.

I have been trying to remove Data Entry from my title, but I am not sure how to do it. All I get is a drop down window that doesn't have accounting in it. I am not sure how to add skills because looking at the example, there are websites and I don't have any other experience like that. I'm sorry if I sound really stupid but all your help is appreciated.

I don't have a team, I am just an individual programmer but I saw some jobs recently that look like they would fit you. Make sure you get the RSS feed from oDesk that you can add to the top of your browser. It shows jobs as they get posted.
