Confused..Help Me

im new here at odesk ang unfortunately i am really confused on how to start ...
im trying a data entry job .. and i really have no idea how to start ... when i got the job.. can u help me out with the data entry job ...can u share me your experience when you got the first job ..tnxs ..have a good day..

Secondly please don't afraid and be confident. As i can see you are already doing a JOB then which part make confusion.

Just remember few things. During interview please clear all the job description and requirements. During interview you can ask every question raise in your mind. Start a job if you know you can do it. This is few things in my mind while applying, interview, accepting any job. I hope these points help you.

Help with your data entry job.

Hi, I'm quite new to oDesk and am currently working on my first job. The first session, I didn't actually log into the team room and ended up having to add the time as offline time! However, things now seem to be going smoothly for me.

My advice to you would be, if there is anything you're not sure of, or if you don't know exactly what the Buyer wants, go to the Work Diary section and you should be able to send a message to the buyer there asking for their specific requirements. Don't be afraid to let the Buyer know if there is anything about the job (or how they would like the work done) that you don't understand. I'm pretty sure that any Buyer would prefer to take a little time to help you understand what they need, rather than pay you for work that is not done in the way in which they require.

When you're in team room, you should be able to view the Work Diaries of other Providers that are working there. Click on their Work Diary and then you should be able to look at the screen shots of what they are doing. If you then click on a Screen Shot, it will be shown in full size (with the option at the top to move onto the next or previous screen shot) and you can look at how they are approaching the work to make sure that you are working in a similar way. There is also an option in the Team Room to send a message to any of the other Providers working there (it is the little envelope icon under their name) - you could always send a message to another Provider asking for a bit of help, or asking for advice on how to approach the job.
