New UK laws cause complications for foreign IT professionals
From next year onwards, a UK employer would have to announce all jobs to British workers in Jobcentre Plus for four running weeks (Up from two)- before these can be thrown open to workers from other nationalities. This should preventing the displacement of UK workers, mainly in IT sector. Do you consider it as a free trade violation ? By my opinion, wester IT professional is endangered species anyway and these steps just prolong its agony.

Good. The outsourcing that a lot of companies do to save money HURTS the economy of the originating country. Hundreds of thousands of jobs have been lost in the United States to do outsourcing because it's "the cheaper way to go" and the companies have had no repercussions for their actions. This is part of the reason why the economy is in the toilet and jobs are scarce.
