Can you close the job openings of the buyers with no verified accounts?
Hi! I just want to ask if you can close the buyers opening after a week if they failed to verify their account? I think they are using this site to recruit providers to work outside odesk. Its so funny that I applied for my affiliated contractor then my affiliated contractor said that the buyer wants her to work outside odesk. I said to her not to accept it because there is no guarantee that this person can pay her. But there is no way that I can stop her.
Its just not fair, because I am the one applying for her to get a job here yet she will take the job outside odesk. Can you act on this? I don't want this to happen again. I guess not all affiliated contractors are professionals.

Yes, oDesk can act on this if you flag the user and report this issue as soon as possible to oDesk. It is not tolerable, (at least to me and probably to oDesk as well, if proved).
[off-topic]Be sure to think twice before accepting a provider as your AC. I had an AC whom I asked not to submit any cover letters (but to learn from mine). That AC did write customized?! spam letters. So, I had to remove the AC immediately from my team (now that AC has been managing a team of three ACs
). It is a pain unless you know the provider very well in person (I still have an AC who is my niece, who did a tremendous job for OUR team).
