Could ODesk provide new Payment method on Monthly Basis, That way companies will pay on monthly basis to there providers on ODesk.
For Example
Opening: Java Developer
Length: 6 months Ongoing
Payment Type: Monthly
Payment per month offer: $4000

And as someone who got paid monthly most of my life, I want to say that I REALLY hate getting paid monthly. Those 31 day months seem like eternity. I like the weekly paydates and would never apply for a monthly paying job. I really think more than one opinion would be needed on this.

There's really nothing stopping you from doing a monthly paying job right now - it's just not automatic. The provider doesn't log hours, the buyer submits a payment once per month.
However, as was mentioned above, monthly pay is far less appealing to providers than weekly. And as it's not hourly-based, the oDesk Payment Guarantee does not apply.
