Is something wrong with my profile?
Hi all,
HELP!! I am really disappointed with myself at not finding a single job for almost 6 months now. I am really desperate for any kind of job at this point but my patience and motivation is wearing out very quickly.
Could anyone please review and comment on my profile. Does it require some more improvements or should I change it completely all together?
I would very grateful for any kind of responses.
Regards,
Awais

I would hide the scores that are not top 10% or top 20% and keep retaking them until you score high enough to show them. The fact that some of your English test scores are low may be scaring off some buyers, since you are advertising your writing skills.
Best wishes.

Awais, you got two problems:
1) Overview. While you sound very intelligent, your overview is not well-written. It's clearly non-native and you tend to use way too many descriptors. You definitely get your point across, but it's rather painful to read. You need to simply your writing and try to make your objective more persuasive. You need to sell yourself - tell the buyer what you can do for them, not what they can do for you. The same applies to your cover letters.
2) Tests. To impress buyers, I would remove anything that isn't top 20% or score of at least a 4.5. You've been here a while, so you should also try retaking the tests to try for higher scores.
On a more positive note, your portfolio look pretty good. It's just that most buyers won't bother to check it if they haven't already been wowed by your cover letter or objective.

Thank you very much for the suggestions.
You're right! I was lacking a captivating objective statement in my profile. I will surely look into this.
Besides the tests and the objective, do you think I need something else to spice up my profile further?
Thank you.

more descriptive skills and additional portfolio items never hurt
but it's definitely the objective and tests that stand out as lacking

I have low test scores on my profile but i have tons of jobs and i do them all by my self. I am also not good in english and dont have any formal education in computer or IT. I juz finish highschool and got 2 years in college.
The secret is, you juz need to write a cover letter that will show the buyers that you really read the job description. Offer them some suggestions ask question and clarifications about their project.Build a communication and relationship with your buyer. Dont be to much fancy with your cover letters.
Take action,,ask your buyer to contact you and tell them that your already available to discuss the project.
Let your buyer feel that your doing a business with them not applying for their jobs.
I hope this will help,,am sorry for my english,,,
