agreed

I would like to see this broken out by hours versus number of assignments. It's nice to see that the assignment/feedback scores but if 300 of these assignments are <8 hours then the feedback doesn't really mean all that much Eye-wink

Sorry, but I have to

Sorry, but I have to disagree for two reasons.

First
one: India has a population of 1,000,000,000 - So, having 5,000 active
providers here it's 0,0005% of the total population. While say.. USA, has about the same population percentage. While there are many other factors to take into consideration, there's not a real difference to consider (IE: While USA is more technically advanced, jobs aren't appealing enough as for Indian developers)

Second: This is a global market provider, the only factors country has a REAL implication  are maybe Internet Connection Speeds or base education (but who did learn javascript at college?), to mark any difference like "Indian developers tend to disappear in long projects" would just be an unfair comment for people working from India. I know there are some cultural differences, but when a service provider comes into sites like this one, *I think* it should be the first obstacle to overcome and he should start acting as a world's citizen.

Raitings.

Actually, any country with at least 30 jobs will have a score that is statistically significant. As such, a country with 30 jobs, and a rating of 4.5 is higher than a country with 10,000 jobs and a rating of 4. So India has lots of jobs, but a score of less than 4. Moldova, with a score of 4.87 is a better bet. They have 59 jobs, which works out to be statistically significant. That is, even with LESS jobs, I can be confident that a job in Moldova will be done at the 4.87 level. BTW, any country with less than 30 jobs is regarded as having insufficient  data to be statistically significant.

Country rating are basically useless

It isn't the country or the society that is doing the job. It is an individual. Some people no matter where they live have an excellant work ethic, other people are irresponsible and lazy.

The only ratings that matter are the individual ratings...period.

The cost of living in each country will determine what an individual can charge and maintain a reasonable standard of living.

Nice to see growing assignments of Pakistan

It is really a pleasure to see the growing rate of completed assignments from Pakistani providers with such a good feedback. Keep up the good work guys. We will be on the top.

Is it possible to add the

Is it possible to add the number of providers considered?

For example, Serbian provider(s) have completed 9 assignments. It is very interesting to see how many providers were involved.
