Overview

Mobile Phone Application Development: Over the last 4 years, i have developed a variety of mobile phone applications & games for Java phones, Symbian, Blackberries and Android platform. Game Porting : I've good experience in porting J2ME games to various mobile phones and models, like, Nokia, Motorola, Samsung and Sony Ericsson. I have many latest phones available for testing applications. These includes Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Motorola and Blackberries. Web data scraping: I have 2 years experience in scraping data from websites using Java programs. I have completed many large volume web scraping projects successfully. MySQL/ MS-Access: I have very good experience with relational databases MySQL ,MS-Access and SQL query language. I'm used to apply my skills to every project until I reach a level of buyer satisfaction that is unsurpassed. Many samples of my work are available upon request.

As buyer, I spent a little more time testing the software and trying to figure out the reason for some bugs thn I would have liked. This was a learning curve for me and Achint was helpful. As I wanted control of the source code, I had to be able to take delivery of code, build it, sign it using RIM keys and deploy the application.  Bugs arose in many areas but very few related to the code written by Achint. Issues arose in relation to how well RIM api calls worked , how deployment over the air of .jad files can run into difficulties, how configuration of the device can impact etc. We worked through these problems together and I am very happy with the final product developed. Achint is a strong competent programmer and any time we hit a difficulty, he researched and found a solution. His communication skills are very good and he carried out the work in a timely manner. The assignment was completed within budget and I paid Achint a bonus also.
