Disputing Billed Hours

The dispute form is accessible via My oDesk -> Hire -> My Assignments. Please select "All" from the status drop-down box, click on the Dispute link next to the assignment in question, and continue through the prompts to complete the dispute form.

Please review oDesk's Dispute Resolution Policy. Note that you may only dispute hours from the previous week, from the time you receive your invoice (on Monday afternoon PST) until Thursday night at midnight, GMT. The dispute form is only available during these times. After that, your card is billed and the provider paid. Hours from more than one week may not be disputed. It is important to speak with your provider and attempt to resolve the issue with them directly before initiating a dispute, as providers have the ability to refund hours directly at any time.
