How much does it cost to join oDesk?

It is 100% free for both providers and buyers to join the oDesk online staffing marketplace.

For buyers, this includes the opportunity to post a job opening, select candidates, and conduct interviews. Registered providers are given immediate access to create an online profile, set their hourly pay rate, take online skill tests, and apply to job openings.

Once a provider is hired by a buyer, the buyer will be responsible for paying the provider's hourly bill rate for hours logged on a job or paying the bid amount at the completion of a fixed price assignment.
