Withdrawing your earnings is quick and easy. We give you complete control over when and how much to withdraw - you can even divide your earnings and use multiple withdrawal methods (a checking and savings account, PayPal and Payoneer, etc.). Remember: Earnings are not withdrawn automatically. You must follow these directions for each withdrawal.
- Go to Payments > Withdrawals. You may be asked to enter your password for security reasons.
- Select a Withdrawal Method from the list.
- Choose to withdraw the Available balance or Other amount. You must enter an amount if you choose Other.
- The form will calculate the Withdrawal Fee, if any. (Fees vary by withdrawal method and amount.)
- Confirm the total to be withdrawn, adjust as necessary, then press the Withdraw button. This cannot be undone.
Your withdrawal method must be set up and active prior to making a withdrawal. You can only withdraw your available balance (not pending credit). Earnings are made available for withdrawal according to the payment schedule.
Providers in the USA must file a W-9 form prior to making their first withdrawal.
oDesk offers the option to withdraw via ACH, Wire Transfer, PayPal, Payoneer and Moneybookers. (Learn more about withdrawal methods.)
Not all withdrawal methods are appropriate for or available to providers in all countries.
There are four main reasons users find themselves unable to make a withdrawal:
- No available balance. You cannot withdraw a pending credit.
- No active withdrawal method. For security reasons, you must wait 4 days to withdraw after adding a new withdrawal method.
- No W-9 on file. This an IRS regulation and applies to providers in the USA only. Please contact Customer Support if you receive this message but are not in the USA.
- Suspended financial account. Please contact Customer Support for assistance.
