Policy: Community Forums Usage

The community forum is public space for interacting with fellow oDesk users and oDesk staff. The following are violations that may result in immediate post removal, warning, board sanction and/or suspension from the site:
- Posting advertisements for any products or services.
- Including another individual's contact information and/or email address in a post.
- Including your own contact information and/or email address for the purpose of soliciting job offers or bids.
- Including profanity, vulgarity, hate speech, disruptive or hostile comments, interpersonal disputes or threats of violence in a post.
- Including material (graphic or text) that is obscene, pornographic or adult in nature.
- Using JavaScript or active code, making repetitive posts or otherwise taking actions that interfere with site operations.
- Attempting to impersonate oDesk staff or other oDesk members.
- Encouraging others to violate oDesk policies.
- Posting email content from private parties.
- Posting material that in any way violates the oDesk Community Values.
- Discussing or reposting deleted posts or warning letters or discussion of sanctioned or no longer registered members.
To keep our forum useful and enjoyable for everyone, we ask that all our members follow the principles of our oDesk Community Values.
All polices are subject to the oDesk Marketplace User Agreement. Any capitalized term undefined in this Policy shall have the meaning ascribed to it in the oDesk Marketplace User Agreement.
Violation of these guidelines may result in suspension or termination of your account. If you are aware of a potential violation, please contact Customer Support.
