Certain countries are currently on the list of sanctioned countries imposed by the US Department of Treasury. A few other countries are not serviced by our payment processing partners. Persons located in these countries cannot be accepted into the oDesk network at this time.
If you are living in the United States, you need to be a permanent resident or a citizen to work as a provider on oDesk. Holders of various VISAs, such as F-1, J-1, H-1, H1-B, H-4, L-2, are not eligible to work on oDesk as providers.
All polices are subject to the oDesk Marketplace User Agreement. Any capitalized term undefined in this Policy shall have the meaning ascribed to it in the oDesk Marketplace User Agreement.
Violation of these guidelines may result in suspension or termination of your account. If you are aware of a potential violation, please contact Customer Support.
