Residency/ VISA Restrictions

Certain countries are currently on the list of sanctioned countries imposed by the US Department of Treasury (http://www.treas.gov/offices/enforcement/ofac/programs/index.shtml). Applicants located in these particular countries cannot be accepted into the oDesk network at this time. If you are living in the United States, you need to be a permanent resident or a citizen to work as a provider with oDesk. Holders of various VISAs, such as F-1, J-1, H-1, H1-B, H-4, L-2, are not eligible to work with oDesk as providers.
