Profile Widgets

oDesk's profile widgets are a great way for providers to promote themselves outside of oDesk. Our widgets are a quick and easy way for you to embed your provider profile on any other website.

Finding the widgets

Our widgets can be found in the profile and settings section of the site. There are three different widgets to select from: large, medium and small you can see how each looks by going to the promote page.

Updating the widgets

Because our widgets display information from your public profile they will automatically update to reflect any changes you make to your profile. Remember if your profile is set to private no information will display in your widget.

Using the widgets on a third party web site

To use the widget, copy the text listed in the section labeled 'embed code' to the right of the widget you want to use and paste this code directly into the HTML of the site you are adding the widget to.

Adjusting the height and width of your widget

If your widget looks a little cramped you can play with the height and width settings until you think it looks good. To do this edit the corresponding height and width numbers in the embed code:
