Categories and Job Alerts

You may update your job alerts at any time. When you have job alerts selected, you will receive a daily email of jobs posted in all the categories you've signed up for in your profile. These are the same categories where your profile will be listed in when a buyer does a search of providers. For the most up-to-date job listing information, we highly recommend you save a search to an RSS or Atom feed.

1. Go to My oDesk -> Profile & Settings -> My Provider Profile.




2. Press the Edit button in the 'Categories and Job Alerts' box


3. Check the box next to 'Email me daily' to receive email alerts. Uncheck the box to stop receiving alerts.


4. Select all the categories and subcategories where you'd like to be listed in the provider directory. If you've enabled job alerts, you will receive them for all the selected subcategories.


5. Press the Save button at the top or bottom of the 'Categories and Job Alerts' box to apply your changes.
